The Conservancy’s mission is to Preserve and Restore the Escondido Creek Watershed. Our Vision is that Through the Conservancy’s leadership, the Escondido Creek Watershed will become a model of vibrant urban communities and viable natural ecosystems thriving together.

The Conservancy’s work is driven by a strategic plan which is updated every five years and a Progress Report completed every 2-3 years. The strategic plan describes goals that the Conservancy implements to help it achieve its mission and vision and the Progress Report tracks progress toward those goals. In the strategic plan, the Conservancy has defined prioritized implementation steps to help it stay on track. Strategies include land acquisition and preservation, education and special projects.
