Plaza Del Arroyo Pocket Park Wins Humanitarian Award from CLCA

The Plaza Del Arroyo pocket park on North Broadway, adjacent to the Escondido Creek trail has been awarded the 2015 Humanitarian award by the California Landscape Contractors Association. The park was designed by landscaper Nathan Stout, installed by Nature’s Designs and partially funded by a grant from the Escondido Foundation. The Humanitarian Award recognizes landscape contractors who donate more than half the total labor/materials to a project benefitting a worthy cause. The property is owned by Evan’s Tires and maintained by TECC volunteers.
