Join us for an amazing Stargazing Fundraising event on the first New Moon of 2020!

Join us for an amazing Stargazing Fundraising event on the first New Moon of 2020! We will be hosting this event at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 24th at the Conservancy’s Mountain Meadow Preserve. Located on a ridgetop, the property is an ideal location to avoid light pollution. This Preserve provides an excellent spot for viewing the night sky, and is normally closed to the public.

We’ll have telescopes and hot chocolate! All proceeds from the event will go to the Conservancy’s Eichen Education Fund to help sustain our education programs to connect youth with nature.

A ticket is $100 ($75 if you donate to the Eichen Fund on Giving Tuesday [Dec. 3]). Children get in free with a paying adult. To donate, click here.

Want even more cosmic enlightenment?

On Thursday, January 23rd 6:00-7:00 PM (the day before the Stargazing Fundraising event), we will be hosting a Conservation Conversation on planetary atmospheres and climate change at the Elfin Forest. This talk will be given by Dr. Lisa Will, the Resident Astronomer for the Fleet Science Center and Professor of Astronomy and Physics at San Diego City College. So hitch your wagon to a star and join us for these astronomically awesome events!
