Franks Peak has been proposed for development. The Escondido Creek Conservancy is working to save it. You can help! Walk with us!

Join us for an athletic 2.9-mile hike to Frank’s Peak, featuring stunning views of North County, snow on the mountains and even the ocean on a clear day. At the top will enjoy the views and we’ll admire the scenery and, for those interested, participate in a trash cleanup. Advanced registration is required.

The Conservancy recently launched Connecting Conservation Corridors, a new campaign to protect three important wildlife linkages in North County.

Frank’s Peak is on one of the target properties and is slated for development. The Conservancy has the property under contract to preserve it, but to secure its protection in perpetuity, funds must be raised for the purchase. This hike is a great opportunity to learn about the Conservancy’s work to protect North County’s iconic landscapes!

Please wear hiking boots, dress in layers and bring a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water. The Conservancy has permission to hike on this private property so we’ll meet in the Ridgeline parking lot and walk together to our location.

All participants must sign liability forms.
