Meet our Summer 2022 Communications Intern: Zoe Kessler

Zoe Kessler is a UC Berkeley undergraduate student majoring in English with a double-minor in Journalism and Conservation and Resource Studies. Outside of her studies, Zoe is a reporter for the city of Berkeley’s newspaper, The Daily Californian. 

She will be with the Conservancy for eleven weeks this summer assisting the marketing department with the organization of the photo and video drive on SmugMug, creating posts for social media, making landing pages for upcoming events, developing press releases, writing blogs, crafting ad campaigns and shootings photos and videos for media content.

Zoe is thrilled to have the opportunity to develop her own skills, while learning more about the Conservancy’s vital environmental work that protects and preserves local habitats. She hopes to be able to apply her experience this summer in a future career within the fields of environmental journalism or environmental communications.
